Advanced Weapons Technology introduces its TALON net gun system which provides police departments with a non-lethal response to very lethal situations. The TALON allows officers to fire under highly compressed air a 16-square-foot nylon net at the rate of over 15 feet per second. The net snares a suspect in a web of indestructible nylon and immobilizes him without the need for physical contact between the officer and the perpetrator. TALON defies the temptation of a perpetrator to take advantage of size or gender to affect an escape.
